    • First got one of these in 2009 under the Proven Selections category. Every year since then have gotten 2 including this year, its inaugural year under the Proven Winners badge. I see no difference but that's a good thing because these plants are unique, robust and very close to a true blue. These do require a tad bit more maintenance than say, lantana or verbena but just some water, regular fertilzer and a little relief from unusually hot summer sun and this chap will bloom prolifically and continuously all summer. One of my top 3 or 4 PW plants and would recommend if only for the unique shape and rich blue color.

    • I plant this in the center of a 24 inch round pot - right in the center. I have 3 on my patio. Then I plant white begonias (4) around the Blue Star. It is an outstanding display for my patio! Not vivid enough for viewing from afar - but perfect for enjoying while on the patio. My entire garden is filled with Proven Winner plants - love them!
